The advisory panel, consisting of six HBCU health and well-being professionals, will offer ongoing guidance to Matrix in relation to the focus areas of Project COURAGE on an annual basis. Additionally, they will collaborate with Matrix to support their initiatives related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB).
Since being appointed, the panel collectively established the criteria and procedures necessary to administer the student and professional scholarship program. They worked diligently to select the first-year recipients and award two scholarships just months after launching the initiative.
